Baltimore Classical Guitar Society
celebrates its 9th Annual Guitar Day
in collaboration with FREE FALL BALTIMORE
This is the time for the members to get together and mingle, watch performances by students of premier classical guitar teachers in the area, hang out, get advise on nail filing and other important things.You will have a chance to chat with the teachers in the area, meet the BCGS administration, check out some local luthiers etcetera.
This year, we have extended our Guitar Day to include a master class. Please remember that registration is required.
Program:
10-12 Franco Platino master class
12-1 Lunch break, light snacks provided, soft drinks available for purchase
1-1:30 Mini recital with Scott Matejicka
1:30-2:30 Risa Carlson lecture on "How to listen to classical guitar"
2:45-3:15 Student performances
3:15-4:15 Andy Mitchell lecture on "Composing 101"
4:15-4:45 Open Stage sponsored by local teachers
