Rites of Spring: The Poulenc Trio
Celebrates Mother's Day
Join the Poulenc trio and guest artists for an extraordinary concert featuring five classic composers who broke all the rules at the dawn of the 20th century. The program will include works by Stravinsky, Poulenc, Hindemith, Piazzolla and Françaix with lighthearted narration by WBJC radio host Jonathan Palevsky.
Tickets: $15/$10 students
The concert will be followed by a special Mother's Weekend reception with wine and pastries from Baltimore's best bakery, Patisserie Poupon.
The Poulenc Trio has performed in more than 40 U.S. states and at music festivals around the world.The Trio has a strong commitment to commissioning, performing and recording new works from living composers, with 20 new works written for and premiered by the group.
